It’s back! Just in time for summer vacation – the infamous, world-reknown “Where In the World is D&S?” T-shirt competition. To win, all you have to do is take your favorite D&S T-shirt on vacation with you and send us a digital photo.

Make sure it shows the D&S logo on the back. (That means either we’ll be looking at your best side, or you’re going to get creative on us, right?) Send your entries to terrie@dsharley.com and we’ll create a photo album on our website and award prizes in a bunch of categories. Please include your name, your e-mail address, where the photo was taken, and if there’s a good story behind it, tell us that too.

You can enter as often as you’d like. Keep traveling, keep smiling over your shoulder, keep sending it our way. If you’re not in town and need a D&S shirt, you can buy one on our website store.

We had a great turnout June 2 for this year’s Spit-Shine Bike Show. The parking lot was packed and more than 50 shiny bikes competed in 10 categories for trophies and bragging rights.

The two top winners were Mike Plane and his 2004 FLSTF, which won Best of Show, and Doug Beddow, with his 2005 Custom, which won People’s Choice.

Go the Spit Shine 2007 photo album to see all the winners and for photos of everyone who entered.

Other winners, by class, were:

LIGHTWEIGHT: First - JR Stevens, 2005 XL1200; Second - Dave Mead, 2001 XL1200; Third – Charlie Buckner, 2005 XL1200.

We heard her clear across the parking lot! Congrats to Shannon Holt, who works just down the street at Umpqua Bank! She won a 2007 Harley-Davidson Sportster® through KBOY Radio’s Free Ride. Below is a video of the event.

What are you doing sitting at the computer? It’s a great day! Get out there and ride! If you’re looking for somewhere to go, check out our Event Calendar. If you want an event listed, send it to terrie@dsharley.com If you’re sitting home all lonely and don’t have a bike to ride, just remember – when it comes to you and a Harley-Davidson, we’re great matchmakers at D&S.

And as always, Ride Safe-- terrie* & the Crew @ D&S Harley
