Happy Riding in 2006!

It's pretty nice out there, for January.

At D&S we're making plans for the new year and that includes lots of sales, riding events and fund-raisers.

In February, we'll kick a new event called "Beach Party Bingo." You can save on all your favorite Parts, Accessories and Motorclothes all day, and win a Weekend-At-The-Beach prize package. We hope to have someone on hand to teach you guys how to hula (you'll do anything for chrome, won't you?), as well as some tropical drinks and snacks.  Mark the Calendar for Saturday, Feb. 11.

In April, we're bringing back our "Day For Women Who Ride." It's a day for women who love motorcycles to socialize and learn a bit, have lunch, raise money for the Komen Foundation and -- this year -- take a ride!  We'll let you know which day and which way as soon as we can.

In May, it's our annual Bikers Have Heart event. Each year we raise a few thousand dollars to help specific children in our area who have life-threatening illnesses and need money for a specific purpose. We've helped kids have surgeries, buy equipment, and even helped one mom buy a car so she could get her daughter to chemotherapy treatments. This year we will also host a raffle of a new Harley to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. So, plan on being here Saturday, May 5.
