Directions
Get on I-5 north to the first Grants Pass exit then take Hwy 199 west to Crescent City, CA. Then head north on Highway 101 to Brookings, OR. On the return trip go south on Hwy 101 to Hwy 197 to Hwy 199 back to I-5 South to Medford.

On the trip there are several places to stop like Taylor's Sausage in Cave Junction; they serve food all day long. Also if you want to make it a multiple-day trip there is a motorcycle campground called Sparkplugs on Highway 199 and several hotels in Brookings. A great place for breakfast is Mattie's in Brookings. For great pizza and beer there is Wild River's Pizza in Brookings.

This is great trip with lots of places to see and stop along the way. The various towns along the way include Grants Pass, Cave Junction, Selma, O'Brien, Gasket, and Hiouchi. There are too many places to eat, sleep, and drink to mention. I have listed the most popular out of them. I encourage you to take the ride and enjoy all that it has to offer. I would also encourage you to look at the local paper for upcoming events. The paper is the Curry Coastal Pilot this is the link: www.currypilot.com
