Larry Anderson
Motorcycle Sales

You wanna know why a V-Rod® is so fast? Ask Larry Anderson, D&S Harley-Davidson's token "Rocket Scientist." Larry is a retired aeronautical engineering exec for Lockheed, who started hanging around the dealership so much we had to put him on the payroll.

He says he was forced out of retirement to support a bad case of Chrome Addiction, and threatens to start offering Chromaholics Anonymous meetings here in the near future. He's been riding for 50 years and had a show-winning 2001 Fat Boy® when we met him three years ago. He's since moved up to a Customized -- or "De-Geezer-ized" -- 2004 Electra Glide® Classic for his longer trips to Sturgis and Yellowstone. But a guy like Larry has gotta go fast, so he also has a 2005 CVO Screamin' Eagle V-Rod® to get places in half the time.

Larry specializes in helping "newbies" select the right Harley® model for their physical size, riding abilities, styling tastes and trip type preferences. He says it's so much fun he's almost embarrassed (the key word is "almost") to accept a paycheck for his efforts at D&S. We know he's great at what he does and if he makes sales and financing look easy, just remember: It ain't rocket science.

Note: If you've had a good sales experience with Larry, or have a good riding story to share, be sure to tell us about it in our Community Section.
